Wheelchair users and others of limited mobility

Due to the age of the buildings that make up the The Red Lion Inn we have to admit that we are not the most accessible of hotels to users of wheelchairs or for those with limited mobility.

All bedrooms in the hotel are located on the first floor and the hotel does not have a lift.

Also both the front and back doors into the hotel have a step leading up to them. Ramps are provided internally within the building whilst parking is across the road in the hotels main car park. Once inside the hotel the restaurant, toilets and lounges are all on the ground floor with a step down to the bar area.

Our staff are here to help all guests including those with mobility, visual or hearing impairment. If you think you may have difficulties in accessing The Red Lion for whatever reason, please call or email us with your questions and we will do our utmost to help you.
